Xeco is a complete turnkey hardware and software solution for commercial and industrial facilities
Xeco Energy is a fully integrated energy management and power quality company specializing in commercial and industrial applications. Xeco’s complete turnkey capabilities consist of in-house circuit and multi-layer PCB design, parts procurement and testing, surface mount flow and through-hole soldering, plastics and wire fabrication, complete assembly line process, 3-phase quality control and testing capabilities, and screen and pad printing capabilities for in-house designs and branding.
Xeco Energy’s manufacturing facilities are inspected quarterly by ETL (Intertek) for consistent quality control and safety listings. All products manufactured by Xeco are ETL and/or UL and CE Listed. Xeco’s complete turnkey manufacturing and In-House capabilities are listed below:
The benefit of designing PCB’s in-house is there are no limits on design. Having the ability to design PCBs in-house gives Xeco the ability to test and evaluate various models in order to completely optimize product performance. Xeco’s in-house design and prototyping capabilities allow the flexibility to control costs when selecting, evaluating, and redesigning PCBs before implementation.
Xeco’s proven modular designs together with innovative thinking create fully automated assembly solutions that are produce recurring value for a wide variety of industry segments. To keep up with constantly evolving technological changes we have created solutions that are based on standard platforms. This enables cost-efficiency and allows for smart scalability through modular design and customization.
Xeco provides in-house ‘Lead-Free’ flow soldering on all its PCB designs with automated soldering to maximize production efficiency. The Flow Solder technique, coupled with Xeco’s rigorous and routine testing ensures that all our products coming off the assembly line meet or exceed the standard expectations of our quality control process, and improve delivery times for our Clients.
Through-hole soldering provides stronger mechanical bonds than SMT, making through-hole ideal for special components that might undergo mechanical stress such as connectors or transformers. Xeco still utilizes through-hole soldering techniques under some circumstances due to the need to produce certain unique parts required for specific applications without compromising quality in design.
To achieve the highest levels of manufacturing quality it is important to follow established PCB quality control methods. Xeco uses the IPC standards that are the electronics-industry-adopted standards for design, PCB manufacturing, and electronic assembly. Specially designed test fixtures are used for measuring multiple test points on the board to verify consistency in PCB performance. Xeco’s strict quality control measures ensure that each PCB performs at its highest level.
Known as a maker of things, Xeco brands each of the parts it builds or fabricates for all finished products as a part of the inspection, application, and registration process. The benefits of these processes are numerous as Xeco wants to maximize its speed to market efforts, while facilitating ‘on-the-fly’ engineering, product branding, and technology advancements.
Xeco Engineers will perform quality control checks on all materials used in the final assembly process. Our fabrication process includes selecting the correct wire for the application, choosing the best quality crimping terminal and heat shrink tubing material. Xeco’s semi-automated wire fabrication process is designed for high volume and scaling opportunities.
As part of the manufacturing process, Xeco’s internal capabilities include metal fabrication to produce enclosures to specifically accommodate our technological designs and applications. Depending on the application, Xeco performs in-house metal bending and stamping of products produced at the Taiwan location.
Xeco has in-house laser cutting capabilities for part-specific designs. Quality Control tools and testing fixtures are also produced in-house using ‘High Density Polyethylene’ material for high-heat applications. Fixtures are also designed and produced for enhancing the scalability process ‘on-the-fly.’ Having full-service laser solution capabilities enables Xeco to produce high-precision parts to exact specifications in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
As a full-scale electronics manufacturer of its own technology designs, Xeco Energy has complete turnkey final assembly capabilities that provide flexibility, increased efficiency, and quality for any product we innovate resulting in faster deliveries and shorter lead-times.
Xeco’s entire software platform was developed in-house to insure total control of every process. Xeco has developed three exclusive operating systems, wireless mesh networking solutions, real-time reporting tools, and a front-end portal that are unique to the industry. Xeco’s complete software solutions are designed specifically to support Xeco’s hardware designs to deliver the ultimate software and hardware solution to our Clients.
We are constantly inspired to improve by the thrill of exceeding our customers’ expectations. At Xeco, we are extremely security-conscience, meaning we do everything in our power to protect our Client’s essential data by implementing robust security protocols and ensuring industry-specific regulation compliance.
To support the comprehensive Hardware and Software solution, Xeco has designed special data servers that are produced in-house for the exclusive use by each Client. The servers collect all the operational data Clients need for real-time monitoring and reporting. All Xeco Servers are placed at the Client’s location in compliance with the protocols necessary to maintain client data integrity and protect against potential hacks.
Xeco provides remote IT support services to our Clients as a smarter way of resolving computer related issues within the shortest timeframe. Be it a hardware or software issue, most can be sorted remotely using our online platform.
Unlike cloud-based storage that other companies typically use, Xeco takes security to the next level by installing client private interval network. This allows more security and control over the data that clients produce in their own facility. Xeco backs up data to internal cloud as a failsafe for data loss.
Xeco includes strength and foundation of a global supply chain and global manufacturing capabilities in 128 countries thanks to the strong, strategic relationship with Flex. Xeco's internal software support systems services clients in USA, Europe, China, and Central America.
Xeco's proprietary hardware & software solutions are continuously developed and engineered to handle multiple applications: lighting, equipment, compressed air, water, and others. This provides for scheduling, analytics, predictive failure, temperature monitoring, fault detection, gas monitoring, and flow sensing to build automation.
